A steady hand, so home stays a place to rest

Practical help with the household tasks that keep a home safe, clean, and running, for people who can’t manage them alone right now.

Overview

What this service is

When cleaning, laundry, and meals pile up, a home stops feeling like home. Our homemaker service takes those tasks off the table so the person can put their energy into living. Homemakers work from a simple plan agreed with the person and their family: which rooms, which chores, how often.

Where it helps, homemakers work alongside the person rather than around them, so skills and routines stay in place. The goal is a home that supports the person, not a home that’s been taken over.

Common questions

Things families and case managers ask us

Does homemaker include personal care like bathing?

No. Homemaker covers the home, not the body: cleaning, laundry, meals, and shopping. If personal cares are also needed, we’ll help you look at the right mix of services.

Will it be the same person each time?

We aim for consistency. The same homemaker learns where things go and how the person likes things done, which matters more than people expect.

Can the homemaker cook specific diets?

Yes. Dietary needs and preferences are written into the plan, from low-sodium and diabetic-friendly meals to cultural and religious food practices.

Ask about homemaker for someone you know

Call, email, or send a referral. A person answers within one business day and helps you figure out which services fit and how to get them authorized.
